1 - What is the difference between Multi Level Marketing (MLM) and Network Marketing?

The term Network Marketing became popular with MLMer’s when the term Multi Level Marketing or MLM started to have bad connotations with a lot of people. A lot of this was the result of a single, very large company, but definitely not all of it. The bottom line is that there is no difference between the two terms.

2 - Is this a pyramid?

The term pyramid is sometimes used to describe the shape of an MLM organization which has one person at the top and gets larger and larger as you move down the organizational chart. Interestingly enough, this is also the shape of the US Government, Ford Motor Company and most other organizations and business operations. What most people are really asking, when they as this question, is whether or not JavaFit is legal or is a pyramid scam. A pyramid scam is a money game where the last ones in lose out. JavaFit sells coffee and pays commissions to its sales force (Affiliates). JavaFit has filed to become a publicly-traded corporation and anticipates to be publicly-traded sometime in the 4th quarter of 2009, which at that time will become under the close scrutiny of the Securities and Exchange Commission. JavaFit is a legal, viable and legitimate business.

3 - Why do I have to pay money to get involved?

To become an Affiliate in JavaFit requires payment of an annual fee of $35. This fee covers the cost of registering the Affiliate and providing an on-line retail store and website with a back office to build and manage the sales team. Any other money spent would be for product or materials for personal consumption or use in building a customer base and a sales team. A key point to recognize is that a JavaFit Affiliate is an independent representative of the company and not an employee. In other words, you own your own business. You must set up and stock your business with a very minimal amount of materials.

4 - Why do I have to bring other people in to the business (recruit and sponsor)?

Honestly, you don’t. However, if you want to earn any money with JavaFit you must recruit customers and or Affiliates to create a sales team. Our business is about selling coffee. You can sell it yourself or you can build a team which will sell coffee and provide you with a commission override through our compensation plan.

5 - How much product do I have to buy to get my commissions and bonuses?

JavaFit has two levels of activity for qualification to earn bonuses. Level one is $40 in Personal Volume (PV) and it qualifies you for Fast Start and Binary Bonus. Level two is $80 in Personal Volume (PV) and it qualifies you for Fast Start, Binary, and Leadership bonus. For a more detailed explanation please refer to the Compensation Plan. You can accumulate PV by making personal purchases of product. Or you can satisfy the PV requirement with purchases by retail customers or preferred customers that you have brought to the business. Thus, you can either purchase product yourself or have customers do it for you. Either way, you will qualify to earn your bonuses.

6 - Do I have to talk to my family and friends?

You do not have to talk to family and friends. However, that is a good place to start building your business because they already know you and most of them probably drink coffee already. Some Affiliates prefer to talk to family and friends about becoming coffee buyers (and users), but not about being Affiliates and building a sales team. Who you talk to about JavaFit is certainly up to you, but consider a couple of things as you make this decision. First, people “buy” from you because they know you, like you and trust you. If you are dealing with people who you don’t know (non family and friends), getting them through that process will take longer. Second, if you think that JavaFit is a good business opportunity, why wouldn’t you want your family and friends to know about it?

7 - Can I run ads?

You can run ads in print or on-line. If you mention the name JavaFit or any of its products, the ad must be pre-approved by the JavaFit Compliance department. Non-compliance with this rule is grounds for termination.

8 - Can I have my own website?

You can have your own website. However, any mention of JavaFit or its products will require approval from the JavaFit Compliance department. Non-compliance with this rule is grounds for termination.

9 - Can I sell JavaFit products to stores for resale?

You can do this, but you may find in many cases that our pricing structure does now allow sufficient profit margin for the retail establishment. JavaFit is a Network Marketing company. Our pricing is driven by our compensation plan and is designed to optimize the income of our independent Affiliates not retail stores. You are certainly welcome to test this theory on your own.
